As I stated before, it is important that we all know about the Spanish culture. During this activity, we are going to learn about all of the Spanish autonomous communities. Students will get into groups of threes to complete this activity. Each member in the group will choose one of each of the following groups:

Typist- This group member will type up the essay that the group will compose.
Power Point Preparer- This group member with out together the slides of the group for their presentations. They will have to add a theme, pictures and animations to the power point.
Collage Preparer- This group member will prepare the collage for the group. The collage will be hung in the classroom to build a map of Spain.

Students will choose one of the seventeen autonomous communities of Spain and make believe they are taking a trip to that autonomous community in Spain. On this trip, you are required to visit a number of site and gather certain information. They will look up information on one cathedral found in that autonomous communities, two monuments, the foods the province is known for, and two interesting facts and why you thought it was interesting. The topics that are to be discussed in this project, which are mentioned above, will be divided amongst each group member to research.  The description of your trip will be the power point presentation. Students will also write a two page paper, as a group about one of the sites they visited in that autonomous communities. Finally, students will prepare a collage with pictures and the name of what is in the picture, of sites, monuments, etc that can be found in that autonomous community.
